Hey, this is just gonna be a random little thing, kinda a sort of PSA, or something, but... If any of you guys are wanting to try to learn how to draw gore (Like, internal workings and stuff), but are feeling squeamish for some reason, maybe about looking up references...

Don't be.

Like... It's not like you have to look at actual photos of gore to be able to draw it well. I mean, if you do do that, then that's totally okay with me, but you don't have to feel obligated to at all if you don't want to.

I mean... Lately, I've been wanting to get more experience in that field, for reasons (AKA all the curvy lines that make up drawn insides are actually pretty relaxing to draw tbh), and have been looking at pictures of anatomical models and stuff. It's not at all gross, it just shows the proper shapes and placements, really. Maybe the proper colorations, if you look at the right images. It ain't bad at all.

And finding anatomical model references for gore isn't hard at all. I mean, adding little words in like "drawing", or "model", or "diagram" saves eyes from too graphic of imagery. Heck, depending on what you look up, you can just get anatomical models on the spot (Like, for example, I just had to type in "human organs" into Google, and it gave me anatomical models that worked perfectly, so long as someone didn't scroll down too far. Though, be careful with this, I tried it before with some searches, and it didn't quite go as planned).

I guess what I'm getting at is... Don't think you have to mentally scar yourself finding refs for drawing gore, because anatomical models are everywhere. Like... If you wanna draw gore, don't go running to a shock site or something looking for refs. You don't need to. (Seriously, don't. Those things are traumatizing. Especially if you run in head-first without being prepared ahead of time. You'll regret it. Big time. So bad ._.)
